Terms of use

Last updated: August 12, 2026

EORICheck is an independent information service. It does not issue EORI or VAT numbers, make customs decisions, or provide an official certification.

Who operates this service

EORICheck is operated by Covo Franco Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Notices and privacy requests reach us at hello@eoricheck.com.

What the service does

EORICheck checks GB EORI numbers against HMRC, XI and EU EORI numbers against the European Commission TAXUD/EOS service, and EU VAT numbers against VIES. It may return a live result or a recent cached result, identified with its source and timestamp. The service also offers API access, CSV batch reports and recurring monitoring on the plans where those features are available.

Informational use only

A valid result means the referenced register returned the identifier as valid at the stated time. It does not prove ownership, authority to act, good standing, solvency, sanctions status or customs compliance. A name or address is shown only when the relevant register publishes it. Confirm decisions that carry legal, financial or shipment risk with the counterparty and the relevant authority.

Accuracy and availability

Official registries can be unavailable, delayed or incomplete, and published records can change. EORICheck does not warrant that a result is always current, complete or error-free. An upstream timeout or service error is not an approval, and users must not treat it as one. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service to maintain security, reliability or upstream compliance.

Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You are responsible for the identifiers you submit and for how you use each result. Use the service only for lawful business purposes. Do not attempt to bypass quotas or access controls, probe or disrupt the service, misuse API keys, scrape at a rate that harms the service or its upstream registries, or use results to misrepresent a person or business.

Paid plans and third-party checkout

If you buy a paid plan, the price, billing cadence, quota and included features shown at checkout form part of your order. A third-party checkout provider handles payment details and may apply its own checkout and billing terms. You are responsible for providing a working delivery email and safeguarding issued API keys. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

No government affiliation

EORICheck is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by HMRC, the European Commission, TAXUD, VIES or any national customs or tax authority. References to those bodies identify the source of a lookup, not an endorsement.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EORICheck and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, an unavailable registry, or reliance on a result.

Privacy and changes

Our privacy policy explains how data is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
