Who is responsible for your data
EORICheck is operated by Covo Franco Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Notices and privacy requests reach us at hello@eoricheck.com.
Data we handle
When you run a check, we process the EORI or VAT identifier, its normalized country prefix, the returned status, source and timestamp. These are normally business identifiers drawn from customs or tax records, but they can still relate to a sole trader or other individual. We may cache a lookup and its result to make the service faster and reduce unnecessary calls to official registries.
API, batch and monitoring data
If you use an API key, batch report or monitoring feature, we process the data needed to provide it: identifiers submitted or watched, lookup results, usage and quota records, report metadata, and the email used for delivery or alerts. We use this information to fulfil the service, secure access, enforce plan limits and troubleshoot failures.
Contact and purchase data
If you contact us, request delivery or buy a plan, we receive the contact, purchase and fulfilment information needed to respond and provision the service. Payment credentials are processed by the checkout provider rather than by EORICheck. We do not sell personal information.
Official registries and service providers
A lookup identifier is sent to the registry needed to answer the request: HMRC for GB EORI, TAXUD/EOS for XI and EU EORI, or VIES for EU VAT. Hosting, storage, analytics, email, monitoring and checkout providers may process limited data on our behalf to operate those functions. We require providers to handle data only for the relevant service and applicable legal obligations.
Analytics and technical data
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic and product events such as checks, results and downloads. Hosting and security systems may also record IP address, device or browser information, requested URL, time and error data. EORI, VAT and email values are not intentionally sent in analytics events. You can restrict analytics with browser privacy controls.
Why and how long we keep data
We use data to answer requested checks, deliver paid or opt-in features, protect the service, measure aggregate performance, meet legal obligations and handle support. We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, including active monitoring, billing, security, dispute and accounting needs, then delete or aggregate it where practical.
International processing
EORICheck serves users across multiple countries and is operated from the United States. Its providers and official lookup sources may process data in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, we rely on the provider's recognized transfer mechanism or another lawful safeguard.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to provide optional email data, stop monitoring or marketing messages, and ask for access, correction or deletion of personal information we control. Some records may be retained where required for security, billing or legal compliance. Official registry records are controlled by the relevant public authority, so corrections to those records must be requested from that authority.

We may update this policy when the product, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
